Each year at Thanksgiving, we reflect on God's goodness and provision to us as a people, a church and a nation. One way we can express our love for people is to give from our abundance. This year, we have selected The Salvation Army as the recipient organization for food items that we bring to church on Attitude of Gratitude Sunday, November 18th.
Generosity is an outward expression of an inner attitude of compassion and kindness. Our church has the opportunity to express our gratitude for God's loving kindness by providing non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army. These items will fill Sallie Bags (short for Salvation Army bags) that the Salvation Army distributes during the week to needy families of the Lodi community. The Salvation Army currently distributes approximately 400-500 Sallie Bags a week. Please bring any of the following:
Macaroni & Cheese
Stove Top Stuffing
Dry/Boxed Food (Cereal, pasta, etc.)
