We provide a warm, nurturing environment with well-supervised childcare for babies and toddlers (up to 24 months of age) during Sunday School and Worship Service. Nursery care is available Sunday mornings from 8:45-11:45am. Nursery care (for babies and children through 3 years of age) is also available on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm for parents working in our Wendesday night children's programs or attending another programmed church activity.
The nursery consists of two separate rooms. Each room is staffed by a team of 2-4 nursery staff workers.
- Infants (birth-12 months)
- Toddlers (12-24 months
When you enter our nursery, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to sign in. You will be given our special diaper bag tag for easy identification and asked to complete a simple form for information about your child (e.g. feeding times, sleeping times, allergies, other special needs). Before you leave, make sure you provide your cellphone number for use by the nursery staff should they need to reach you wherever you are during your time with us.
A Healthy Nursery
We offer a well-baby nursery! For the protection of all children, we take children who are healthy and have not had a recent cold (4 days or less) or exhibit any signs of illness (runny nose, fever, cough, diarrhea, etc.)
While your child is in our care…
• We will help them feel comfortable, loved and secure.
• We will use a tone of voice that helps them feel secure and reassured.
• We will play, read and pray with your child.
• We will help them feel secure with adults and other children in various situations.
• We will make the safety and comfort of your child our priority.
We have special rooms for you in the nursery and the Worship Center if you desire privacy while nursing. In our Worship Center, the women’s lounge is equipped with a television monitor to view the worship service while you care for your child.
Keeping children safe and secure is our priority! We view ourselves as partners with parents seeking to provide quality care and instruction in our children’s ministries. Our children are God’s precious gift to us. It is our desire to provide a safe, fun and loving environment for them to experience God and the joy of learning more about how much He loves them. We have implemented sound and parent-friendly policies for our children’s ministry on Sundays and midweek programming. These policies are designed for each child and adult involved to understand their roles, the care that is required in serving and the priority of maintaining a safe environment where there is no distractions to learning. It is our hope that these policies will serve as an encouragement for the parents leaving their children in our care.
